3 Simple Immune Boosting Hacks for Your Fam

  1. Grab your favorite water pitcher with filtering lid (we like this one) and throw in a sliced organic lemon or two. This simple and cheap hack will give you and your family an added kick of vitamin C with each glass! Added bonus? Sprinkle a dash of mineral salt in there (I promise you can’t taste it!) We like Redmond’s Real Salt or Taylor Dukes Wellness Mineral Salt.

    • Hydration helps transport nutrients and oxygen to cells, keeping the immune system functioning well. Dehydration can decrease the effectiveness of lymphatic circulation, which plays a key role in fighting infection.

  2. Get everyone outside for some free vitamin D! Sunshine and fresh air are wonderful immune boosters. Have a newborn? Time in the sun is key to helping them build up some much needed vitamin D, even if you sit by them inside near a window and let the sun shine on them! Added bonus: eggs are a nutritional powerhouse!
