Survival Mode? Grab These 5 High-Protein Costco Staples
In the midst of pressing seasons like the holidays or pregnancy or increased responsibilities, it’s so helpful to have one less task on your plate—like thinking about what to put on everyone’s plates!
So here’s my quick Costco list for getting my family of five through these final weeks of my fourth pregnancy and the holidays!
The goal for me is full bellies, minimal prep, minimal cook time and as few dishes as possible!
As a basic rule, I keep a stash of paper plates on hand for when the days are simply too exhausting. Don’t hold yourself back by the guilt of “wasting” a plate. Your family needs a rested mama more than a reusable plate. I usually buy my 10” plates in bulk from Costco or Amazon.
My 5 High-Protein Costco Staples
Breakfast made easy with organic sprouted oatmeal! 4-5 cups of oats with water for 10 mins in the microwave and breakfast is ready! If you have any frozen fruit, throw it in!
We eat these mini quiches at any point during the day (breakfast, lunch or dinner!)Tiny, full of protein and easy cleanup. Can be microwaved or put in oven.
Beef sticks are a go-to when we all have to load up in the car or are feeling a bit hungry between meals!
Organic frozen chicken nuggets are a CROWD PLEASER and make dinner or lunch just too easy when I’m in a bind. Plus, they’re organic, so I don’t feel the sting of fast food guilt.
These Grand Teton all beef hot dogs are so filling and high-nutritional value! We love brioche buns for ours. Great for lunch or dinner. I will often throw on some cheese, ketchup or even just plain.
